i've been negligent. maybe not legially, but technically.
i'm back in st. louis with a nasty cough that followed me out of springfield. i guess that was it's parting goodbye. making me an invalid.
i'm going to yellowstone in june. i want to see old faithful like every other tourist, but i feel a sense of urgency now that volcanists (is that even an -ist? it is now) say that whole mountain part of this continent is gonna blow its top in a few years.
i'm glad i live in the midwest (at times like these), because we never do anything to piss off any other country or religion or dramatic person, so nothing ever happens to us.
oh wait.
that sucks.
onward.
i'm going to yellowstone in an rv for two weeks with my family. if anyone hears of a family that was murdered out west in the rocky's, it was us. and we weren't murdered, we killed each other.
*insert picture of nuclear explosion here*
(i haven't thought of one yet.)

In other news, if I see one more commercial for match.com or eharmony I'm going to hang myself from the ceiling. I can find a member of the opposite sex to suit myself just fine, thank you. No help is needed on teh internets part. As much as it wants to help. For the low cost of probably $15 a month.
If my roommate doesn't stop playing I Kissed a Girl while I'm watching the Hurt Locker, I'm going to put tuna under her sheets.

Myst

I think a reason that I picked green sheets and a blue comforter was so I could feel like I'm laying on grass and looking up at the sky.
It's far too cold outside right now to go and lay on the ground, but I love looking at clouds.
This beauty of a dog was one who passed through my current work place. She is a Great Pyrenees, and her name was Myst when she was here. I often feel like I barely get to know animals that come through us. Because most of them are adopted or put down within months.
